Translations of Vibration

 Translations of Vibration

The Markety Gallery is pleased to present a solo show with artist Stacey Kalkowski

The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th, 6:00-9:00 p.m.  1057 S. San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA  90015

With Special Musical Performance by Clowns and Fetuses

Stacey Kalkowski presents her newest work Translations of Vibration.  Her work continues to explore the use of urban spaces.  Using ceramics, steel, wood and photography, she utilizes the multi-cultural mythos of the red thread that invisibly ties us together as a community.  There is an invisible red thread that connects each of us to all of the individuals who have been, currently are, and will in the future be important to us in our lives. This red thread can stretch, twist, and bend… but will never break.

Gallery hours: by appointment only (please email mudgoddess@gmail.com for a viewing)
